We sell toweling at the store and it's a wonderful thing to use to make towels that are the length that you would like. But it also a great thing to use to make table runners. Here we have added pumpkins to either end of some toweling. We whip stitched around the pumpkins and blanket stitched the rounded edge. It is available in the brownish color we used for the pumpkins, and a really pretty blue. How do you think some snowflakes might look on the blue? Give it a whirl and see what ideas you come up with.
